Five soundscapes, five evenings, spanning time and soul, where stories are sung slowly, and hearts are told with melodies woven to nature's frequency of 432 Hz, in deep harmony with the breathing of the earth and the pulse of humanity.

The album was recorded in the heart of Cairo, Egypt, in 2025, at Blue Music Production Studios, under the supervision of engineer Peter Ayman, where vibrations blended with time, spirits with sound, and frequencies were translated into lyrics and melodies.

In this musical reminiscence, Odai takes you on inner journeys where memories are recalled, customs are evoked, and the senses are touched, with words, melodies, and arrangements from his heart to yours.

Shams” – Sun
In “Shams,” Odai opens a window onto part of his personal journey in search of light,From the eyes of the earth, to the mountains, across the seas, and finally to the sun itself… the song gently reminds us that we are fleeting guests upon this small earth, in a time barely visible.
“Shams” is more than a song it is a musical journey across continents, stretching from the Arab East to the heart of Latin America, carrying in its sound the warmth of the South, the melancholy of the East, and the whisper of wind through the leaves.
Sung in Arabic, the piece is woven with a unique blend of instruments: the charango, Native American flute from Peru, jaw harp, shamanic drums, percussion from intersecting cultures, rustling leaves, and other sounds.
Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Odai Basim, featuring vocalist Sahar Al-Zoghbi in a vocal dialogue between earth and sun, between human and shadow, between absence and light

Wa Anajik” – And I Call to You
A song that breathes from the fragrance of authentic Egyptian voice, from the features of timeless art, and from the longing of songs that people have always sung.
“Wa Anajik” is more than music it is the story of a wanderer searching for a path through tangled threads, walking between the vastness of the cosmos and the soil of love, carried by a melody like a prayer and a yearning echoing in the air.
It is a unique musical fingerprint, uniting a group of outstanding artists in a collaboration that transcends borders and styles:
   •    Dina El Wedidi – the voice carrying the soil of the Nile and the ache of the land
   •    Ameen Arghol – master of yarghoul and kawala, keeper of the Egyptian countryside’s breath
   •    Yacoub Abu Ghosh – the distinctive Jordanian bassist, leaving his own unmistakable touch
   •    Sahar Al-Zoghbi – the delicate voice that flows through the melody like water

Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Odai a message of love and invocation, a keepsake of a hidden moment, like a musical ritual recited by the heart before the tongue.

Jina” – A Song from the Heart of One Land, is a lyrical poem pulsing with the spirit of the East, where an authentic musical maqam reflects the deep-rooted Jordanian identity, intertwined with the soul of Palestine through the breath of the yarghoul, playing a shared history untouched by borders.
This piece stands as a living keepsake from a time when politics had not yet torn apart the body of the Levant—when voices and cultures belonged to one land, one dialect, and one breath.
It is an artistic attempt to revive this collective heritage and recall the fabric of identity before it was fractured by dividing lines.
Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Odai, featuring vocalist Sahar Al-Zoghbi.

Samara ~ Acacia
Beneath a sky brimming with stars, Odai sings to his desert to the silence of its mountains and the whispers of its valleys, to the dance of its sands and the conversations of ancient trees and thirsty plants.
It is the samra of the wandering lover, who keeps company with music and mawwal, confessing his longing under the shimmering moonlit nights without blame, without complaint. He does not settle, nor does he know what the roads hold for him; he simply walks where the call leads.
In this sonic encounter, he is accompanied by the nay of artist Tareq Rabah, as if the desert wind itself were breathing into it.
Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Odai Basim, featuring Sahar Al-Zoghbi her soft voice accompanying the journey like the shadow of silence at the edge of night.

Habab Al-Hail” – Cardamom Seeds
In this musical gesture, we walk the paths of memory and longing.
We pass through our customs and traditions, our language and music, our secrets and principles everything that forms our human fabric, and everything now threatened with extinction.
“Habab Al-Hail” is not just a song it is a gentle call from heart to heart; an invitation to preserve what remains of our heritage, and reclaim what was lost in the crowd of globalization and forgetfulness.
It is a mirror of what we have lost, and a voice for what we fear losing we, the children of this East heavy with love and loss, and of humanity everywhere.
The journey begins from the heart and arrives at a simple truth: that the path of love is love itself, and that we despite borders and colors are one family divided by the lie of homeland and belonging.
Lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Odai, featuring Sahar Al-Zoghbi, in a musical meeting that unites memory and dream, whispering that what remains… is worth telling.
